This was a good one. I Google'd him and he was top result with only using "limit lawns" as the search query. Plus, he got the 34 Review Goal and has 5 Stars across the board (I think there was one 3-star, but it didn't even dent the overall rating). What he needs to do is leaving a "Thank You Card," imo, with his business info on, how to reschedule, how to refer to someone else for a discount on your next visit, and just a little small snippet about leaving a fair Google Review goes a long way. They're cheap - Vistaprint or Home Printers work, and the customers appreciate it.

3:23 this man makes a great point, it’s human nature to want to work as a team and support each other and have somebody to bullshit with between, and have somebody else going through the same thing you’re going through on days when you’re dirty at 2:30 and you still got more to go. Working solo can be much more of a grind.

Three strikes and you’re gone. I’ve let go multiple people that are good at their job but can’t show up on time. Allowing that behavior sets a precedent for other employees to test your limits. That said, I’m on time every day. I would never expect something of my employees that I wouldn’t do or can’t do myself.

Not only does F-450 guy not know how to manage money he literally doesn’t know how to communicate with employees. Telling the guys he’s gotta take 300 from his wallet cuz they were to slow and now he “ doesn’t really have a lot of money in his bank acct “ sounds snobby. I’m a business owner an I understand what he was trying to say but the guys won’t an he just looks like a bag oh peckers drivin that truck the guys know has nothing to do with the work, while complaining about money yet he’s always traveling somewhere spending more borrowed money. She will lose the case and she’ll lose by default if she doesn’t go to the hearing, however she may still not pay you, and after a few months if she doesn’t you have to get a Marshall to deliver a Capias; which the court will mail you, and have her arrested! Now she HAS to open her books up and show why she’s breaking the law (also it costs you about $100 to go to the civil court in the county where you did the work but you claimed that on top of the $750 she owes you and then you can also collect for your time spent trying to collect the money, so go kick her a** do it for the rest of us out here!!I’ve had to Small Claims people. They literally think that the things they take from my small business even after my beautiful husband died, still just take things and don’t pay for the items. There are a lot of good people in the world and there are a lot of thieves in this world.

My 3rd location closed its first deal yesterday... amazing feeling. Especially when they do it on their own by following your systems.

You know you should have gotten a contract. Always make people sign something before you do work. That way you have a paper trail to CYA. Hell I am sure you know this.
